Nature Photography is Fun !

Nature Photography is Fun!

Nature photography should be fun, not intimidating. You don’t have to own an expensive camera to take great photos of animals, for example. And you don’t have to travel to some distant exotic land either. Believe me, there are plenty of opportunities to indulge your interest in nature photography right in your own backyard…

Now that we have digital cameras, we can all afford to take lots of photographs without worrying how they’re going to turn out.
So you shot a hundred pictures of a robin taking a bath and you don't like any of them? No problem…just delete them. (Been there, done that!) Don’t get discouraged…just try again.
The more you shoot, the better you’ll get. Anybody can be a good nature photographer. Just relax already!

Maybe you don’t want to be a photographer at all. Maybe you just enjoy pictures of nature. Well, you’ll find lots of them here! You’ll find all kinds of wildlife pictures including photos of animals and plenty of bird images for you bird-watchers out there. Birds are probably my favorite subject to photograph.

There are also plenty of landscape and seascape pictures (including sunsets, sunrises, and images of the moon), flower pictures, and dragonfly photos…you name it. There’s even a gallery of cute and funny animals.

Here are some of the things I’d like to share with you...

  • nature photo galleries to inspire you
  • fun videos and slideshows of wildlife
  • beginning photography tips so you can learn to take better pictures
  • digital photography basics
  • a place to show your own nature photographs
  • a blog to keep you up-to-date on new pages as I add them
What I’d really like to do here is share my love of nature and enthusiasm for photography with you. I hope you’ll find inspiration as you explore my photo galleries. Looking at nature pictures is one of my favorite ways to unwind.
If you’re already out there shooting up a storm, great!
But if you haven’t already tried nature photography, I encourage you to go ahead and give it a shot. If you’re anything like me, you might like it. A lot. And don’t forget…have fun!
